About the event
The second of our 2026 VAS Summer Lecture Series will be a talk by Dr. Zipporah Weisberg and Sona Kalafusova about animal sanctuaries.
Dr. Zipporah Weisberg is an adjunct professor in the Department of Classics and Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa and a Guest Researcher at the Messerli Research Institute and Sona Kalafusova serves as the Regional Outreach Manager for Eurasia at the World Moot on International Law and Animal Rights and conducts policy research with TransFARMation Austria.
