"Edge of Sentience" reading group discussion

Join the reading group discussions of Jonathan Birch's The Edge of Sentience which will take place every last Friday of the month from 10:00 to 11:30 AM CET via Zoom.

The first four dates are as follows::

This reading group is part of the Sub Working Group “Bridging Disciplines” of the Cost Action Lifting Farm Animal Lives (LIFT) which seeks to lay the foundations for positive animal welfare. This reading group is a follow up from an ongoing collaboration between the Messerli Research Institute and The Centre for Ethics at the University of Pardubice. The reading group participants will be interdisciplinary, encompassing both people from philosophy/ethics and natural sciences.
