Hi there,
One of the hottest summers on record is officially behind us, although Vienna is still enjoying plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures. As we prepare for the beginning of another busy semester, we’d like to take this opportunity to share some news, welcome new members to our team, and tell you about upcoming activities and events.
We’re delighted to welcome two new members to the VAS team: Astou Maraszto, a Lecturer at the Institute of Education at the University of Vienna, whose work focuses on diversity and inequality; and Zlata Ulitina, a co-founder of Yerkratsiner animal rights NGO in Armenia and an activist for Plant-based Universities Angewandte in Vienna. We’re very happy to have them join us and look forward to the perspectives, expertise, and ideas they will bring to our collective work.
As we enter the new semester, we wish you an enjoyable and restorative start to autumn. We look forward to sharing soon the program of the VAS Winter Lecture Series, and also new activities, opportunities, events, and updates with you in the months ahead.
