Hi there,

A new semester has started in Austrian Universities, and with it the new VAS Winter Lecture Series. In the coming months, we will be hosting talks both by VAS members as well as by guest lecturers - you'll hear all about this in this and the coming newsletters. Also remember to join us on Signal to stay up to date with our latest news and activities!

But first, an especially exciting announcement:

Together with the Star Competence Centre, Vienna Animal Studies is proud to be organizing "Animals, Cities, and Sustainability," a conference scheduled for September 2027! Deadline for abstract submissions is 31 January 2027. Find out more below and on our website.

In November we will have two lectures as part of our 2026 VAS Winter Lecture Series! We look forward to seeing you there!

Once again, remember to join us on Signal to stay up to date with our latest news and activities! This group is primarily a space where members can share events and opportunities.

Take care,

The VAS Team
